| What will I need to purchase property in Spain? |
• Employed Applicants.
- 1) Contract of employment.
- 2) Letter from employer confirming position, length of service, annual income plus bonuses.
- 3) Photo copies of wage slips for the last 3 months.
- 4) Photocopies of P60 or equivalent tax returns for the last 2 YEARS.
- 5) If employed in Spain, your latest copy of your declaration de la Renta plus details of any additional income.
- 6) Any certificates from accountants confirming drawings etc.
• Self Employed.
- 1) Certified letter from accountants confirming drawings from the business.
- 2) Copies of the last years financial accounts (profit and Loss accounts plus balance sheets.
- 3) Personal tax return documents i.e. ( P 60 and tax return documents i.e. self Assessment forms).
• Additional information required.
- 1) Full personal contact details, address, telephone number and fax numbers.
- 2) Photocopies of valid passports.
- 3) Full contact details of your bankers to enable us to obtain a bankers reference.
- 4) Details of existing major liabilities ( mortgage, HP etc. detailing capital outstanding, terms of monthly requirements.
- 5) Copy of the purchase contact of the property you wish to purchase here in Spain, stipulating the agreed purchase price.
- 6) Any additional supporting documentation, which you may feel relevant for the bank to process your mortgage request.
• For both of the above you will need 6.000 € deposit to reserve your property it can either be a bankers draft on a credit card or cheque but if using a cheque here in Spain it could take upto ten days to clear. |
